Soil Testing & Reports

Soil sampling and holistic analysis reports provide insight into the nutrient status of your soil.

Farm Nutrition Tas will visit your property to view and sample your soil. Soil samples will be sent to an accredited analytical laboratory and along with the complete soil analysis provide you with a detailed interpretation of the report.

Soil Test

Why Soil Sample?
Soil sampling provides important insight into the nutrient and general fertility status of surface and sub-surface soil layers.

The results of the soil sample will be interpreted to give an indication as to the future biological and nutrient requirements that may be required to achieve optimum yields. Based on your preferences, a nutrient management plan can be created.

Soil testing is a diagnostic tool suitable for determining reasons for poor growth, identifying possible biological and chemical imbalances and determining factors that may be limiting crop and pasture production.

These benefits may result in better farm management through more cost effective nutrient decisions.

Below is an example of a laboratory soil test and two different interpretations, showing that the interpretation can be tailored to suit what ever preference you may have for fertilizers.
